Healing is Personal

Cultivate Compassionate Connection With Your Whole Self

Healing isn’t about fixing yourself—it’s about cultivating a deeper, more compassionate relationship with who you already are. At Clinical-ish, therapy is a space where the full complexity of living with mental health and chronic illness is met with care, nuance, and respect. We offer thoughtful, evidence-based therapy rooted in self-awareness, self-acceptance, and gentle, intentional care. Through a collaborative and affirming approach, we support you in honoring every part of yourself—your resilience, your vulnerability, and everything in between—so healing feels sustainable, dignified, and deeply personal.

Empowering Black women and men to navigate their healing journeys with compassion and expertise.

I understand the layered realities of Black women and men —at work, at home, and within ourselves. Clinical-ish was created as a space where you don’t have to explain your context or shrink your experience to be understood. Here, you’ll find compassionate support, practical tools, and a community rooted in care, honesty, and cultural awareness.

You don’t have to carry it all alone. Together, we’ll build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and create balance that actually fits your life. I support you in honoring your whole self—not just your professional or familial role, but the human being behind it who deserves rest, healing, and wholeness. My goal is to help you cultivate healing that shows up in your life and work, from the inside out.

Welcome! I am Donnisha

I created this space for Black women and men who are carrying a lot (personally, professionally, and emotionally) and are ready for support that actually sees them. You don’t have to perform strength or explain your lived experience here. My work centers compassion, cultural understanding, and practical tools to help you care for your mental health while still showing up for your life and work in ways that feel aligned and sustainable.

“I have come to believe that caring for myself is not self-indulgent. Caring for myself is an act of survival.”
